Year 5 enjoyed a super trip to Worcester Commandery. They have been learning about The English Civil War in their History topic on the Stuarts so the Commandery was a perfect place to visit as it was used as the Royalist Headquarters during The Battle of Worcester, the last battle of the English Civil War in 1651.  The children enjoyed fun, hands on and interactive activities learning about the weapons, armour and battle tactics used at that time. They also learned about life for those not involved in battle including some rather gruesome methods of surgery. A great day enjoyed by all!
