To enhance the enjoyment and understanding of their History topic on the Middle ages, the Year 4 children visited Gloucester Cathedral. They travelled back in time to spend half their day as medieval monks and the other half as medieval pilgrims journeying to the tomb of King Edward II. The children were fully immersed into their roles throughout the day and enjoyed the fun of dressing up and carrying out a range of fun and interactive activities in this magnificent setting.
